Can NexWipe erase a laptop from the browser?

No. A browser cannot securely erase a laptop’s internal drive. Erasure is performed by the NexWipe Agent, which boots on the laptop itself. The agent is in development.

Is NexWipe certified?

No. NexWipe holds no certifications and has not been independently assessed.

Which hardware will be supported first?

x86-64 Dell, HP and Lenovo laptops with directly attached SATA and NVMe drives. See the supported hardware page.

Does importing a CSV verify my hardware?

No. Imported rows are recorded as not station-reported. A station report shows which enrolled station sent an identity; it does not by itself prove the hardware physically exists, and test or virtual hardware is always labelled synthetic.
